The TSAF 708 Rail to Ladder Connector fixes the rail of the rail-type Vertical Lifeline System to the ladder. It is made from GI with a hot-dip galvanised (HDG) finish, weighs 0.230 kg and is fixed through GI fasteners.
The connectors hold the rail in line with the ladder so that the fall arrestor trolley can travel smoothly over the full climb. They allow the rail system to be added to an existing ladder. The number and spacing of connectors are set during system design according to the ladder and rail layout.
