TSAF 108 is the 8 mm stainless steel wire rope used as the lifeline cable across TsaF cable-based systems. It is made from SS-316 in a 7x7 construction, weighs 0.25 kg per metre and is supplied by the metre so that each line can be cut to the length the site requires.
The same rope is used in the rope-type Vertical Lifeline System, the Horizontal Lifeline System and the Overhead Lifeline System. The horizontal lifeline section of the catalogue describes the cable as stainless steel AISI 316L, 8 mm diameter, 7x7 wire rope. The rope is terminated with TsaF end fittings such as the TSAF 102B swageless end and is tensioned through the TSAF 100A shock absorber cum tensioner.
