The TSAF 703 Rail Connector joins individual rail lengths in the rail-type Vertical Lifeline System, so the TSAF 202 fall arrestor trolley can travel continuously along the full height of the climb. It is made from SS-304 with a natural finish, weighs 0.57 kg and is fixed through GI fasteners.
Rail connectors are used wherever the climb is longer than a single rail section. The number required depends on the total rail length and is set during system design. Joints are checked for alignment during installation and at each annual inspection.
