The TSAF-404 Retractable Fall Arrestor is a 10 m self-retracting device used with the Overhead Lifeline System. It hangs from the overhead line trolley and connects to the worker's harness, paying out and retracting as the worker moves, for example on the top of a truck, tanker or rail wagon.
The device is made from steel and plastic with a natural finish and weighs 6.5 kg. The catalogue lists a minimum breaking strength of 6 kN. The overhead lifeline benefits listed in the catalogue include support for self-retracting lifelines and hands-free mobility along the line.
