The TSAF 202 Fall Arrestor Trolley connects the climber to the rail of the rail-type Vertical Lifeline System. It is made from aluminium alloy and steel with a natural finish, weighs 1.05 kg and has a minimum breaking strength of 15 kN as stated in the catalogue.
The catalogue describes the trolley as having an inbuilt shock absorber feature that locks over the rail in the event of a fall, and a uni-directional locking system that prevents it from sliding down on its own when not in use. The climber connects to the trolley with a karabiner. End stoppers at the bottom of the rail prevent the trolley from moving out of the rail.
